Niel is fourth in a brood of eight. Growing up in a big family has been fun for Niel but there had been tough situations, too;he recently stopped attending school because of financial difficulties.

Amidst his problems, Niel continuously pursues his dreams by participating in free voice and dance lessons at a local talent center.

He hopes that becoming a boyband member will pave the way, not only to his personal success, but also to the improvement of his family’s welfare, particularly his blind brother's.
