Naked Baristas Take Over NYC Coffee Shop To Introduce Nestlé’s Sweetest Cream.
Would you frequent a coffee shop where baristas leave their clothes at home and put their bodies on full display?
That’s exactly the surprise some unsuspecting customers received when they walked into a New York City coffee shop that had been taken over by body painted baristas and nude customers. The stunt was an effort by Nestlé to promote its new Coffee-Mate Natural Bliss creamer.
Nestlé filmed customers’ reactions to the naked baristas as they handed out free coffee and samples of the creamer, all of whom were hired actors painted to look like they are wearing cycling outfits or jeans.
The New Yorkers were “more shocked that the coffee was free than by the naked people,” said Pierre Lipton, the chief creative offices at 360i, the agency behind the advertisement.
