The Voice Kids Philippines 2016 Blind Auditions: "Power Of Love" by Sharla
A young artist from Paranaque became the latest member of Sharon Cuneta's growing team on "The Voice Kids" on Sunday.
Twelve-year-old Sharla Cerilles performed the hit ballad "The Power of Love," catching the attention of all three coaches -- Cuneta, Lea Salonga and Bamboo Mañalac.
"Oh my gosh! This girl is a complete package kasi you're beautiful to look at, and 'yung presence mo, ang lakas on stage. At nagco-connect ka sa audience. Obvious na obvious na nage-enjoy ka sa pagkanta," Salonga said.
"Maraming nakakalimot na 'yung birit, maganda 'yun para malaman naming coaches 'yung range ng boses ng isang contestant. Ayoko kasi 'yung mula umpisa hanggang dulo, sumisigaw. Nakakapagod, 'di ba?" Cuneta added.
Mañalac, for his part, said: "What I like now is hearing you noong nagkukwento ka. Hearing you, I just see, may something sa mata mo eh, which I always like on my team."
Cerilles eventually chose to be part of Cuneta's team, the actress-singer's lone recruit of the night.
By the end of Sunday's episode, both Cuneta and Salonga had one recruit each, while Mañalac was able to recruit two artists.
"The Voice Kids," which is hosted by Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, and Kim Chiu, airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and on Sundays after "Goin' Bulilit."
