The Voice Kids Philippines 2016 Blind Auditions: "One Call Away" by Peter
The Voice Kids" coaches Bamboo and Lea Salonga fought over a young singer from Las Pinas City in the show's episode on Sunday.
Peter Vallejos charmed both Bamboo and Salonga with his rendition of Charlie Puth's "One Call Away."
Sharon Cuneta, who replaced Sarah Geronimo as one of the mentors, did not turn for Vallejos.
Noong iniisip ko, pipindutin ko na, na-off key ka," she said, offering to be Vallejos' acting coach instead.
"Yung key change, I think parating nangyayari 'yun. Most of the time, sa madami, kapag umikot na kami. Happy nga ako, sabi ni Coach Lea, na nahanap mo 'yung key mo, eventually. Ako, 'yung masasabi ko sa'yo, umikot ako kasi, aside from personality, as a singer, as an artist, gusto kita i-nurture in that direction as well," Bamboo said. Vallejos eventually chose to be part of Salonga's team as its third member. The other two members of 'FamiLea' are Noel Comia Jr. and Yessha dela Calzada.
"The Voice Kids," which is hosted by Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, and Kim Chiu, airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and on Sundays after "Goin' Bulilit."
