Aiza Seguerra suspended from ASAP over network war: "I think with the AlDub issue, medyo fierce ngayon."
Naiintindihan daw ni Aiza Seguerra ang ipinataw na leave of absence sa kanya ng pamunuan ng ABS-CBN para sa Sunday musical-variety show na ASAP.
Ito ay kahit hindi malinaw sa kanya ang rason kung bakit nangyari ito. Ang duda ni Aiza, ito ay dahil bahagi siya ng cast ng bagong morning teleserye sa GMA na The Ryzza Mae Show Presents... Princess In The Palace.
Mula sa TAPE at APT Entertainment, pagbibidahan ito ng child star na si Ryzza Mae Dizon at magsisimula na sa September 21, Lunes.
Pahayag ni Aiza, "Kumbaga, being in this business long enough, siyempre di na ako magpapa-plastik.
“Medyo sana hindi, medyo sana hindi kailangan... dahil iba naman yun.
“Pero it's a directive galing sa management that I have to respect.
"I don't hold any grudges against them na they have to do that.
"After all, this is a business, they have to protect their business."
Dagdag niya, "It's not a perfect world... we're not contract artists, we're not exclusive artists.
"Kumbaga, sa hierarchy ng mga artista, medyo kami ang nadi-displace kapag may mga ganitong issues."
Nakausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang miyembro ng press si Aiza sa presscon ng Princess In The Palace, na ginanap sa Le Ve Events Place, kahapon, September 15.

Si Aiza ay produkto ng Eat Bulaga, ang longest-running noontime show na ipinuprodyus ng TAPE.
Ayaw raw ni Aiza na 'magsunog ng tulay' kaya tinatanggap niya nang maluwag sa dibdib ang desisyon ng Kapamilya management.
Sabi pa ng acoustic singer, "I have friends sa kanila.
"Kumbaga, at the end of the day, it's also work.
"I understand, no hard feelings, and I respect the decision."
Buong akala raw ni Aiza, hindi magiging sagabal ang pagsali niya sa teleserye ni Ryzza Mae sa stint niya sa ASAP.
"I thought it's gonna be like that, kasi di nga naman direct competition, e.
"Parang it's a different ano... with what's happening now, you don't know how they think, e.
“That's how it is, alam naman natin na hanggang ngayon ay meron pa ring network thing na nangyayari.
“Especially, I think with the AlDub issue, medyo fierce ngayon.
"So, yeah, I think, they are just protecting themselves.
"And ang sabi lang nila, they they don't want to set a precedent na gawin din ito ng ibang artists sa kanila."
Paano ipinarating ang desisyon na mag-leave of absence muna siya?
"Na parang, after the London ASAP, ayun, leave of absence muna."
