The Philippines’ “Queen of Soul” Jaya was officially welcomed to the Kapamilya Network!
PUSH - The Philippines’ “Queen of Soul” Jaya was officially welcomed to the Kapamilya network when she appeared on the noontime show It’s Showtime on July 16.
Everybody was surprised when she announced that she’d be starting her new life with the network.
“This all happens so fast. Gusto kong magpasalamat sa It's Showtime for including me. I'm just so excited to be here on ABS-CBN,” she said.
“I'm excited to start my new life here,” Jaya added. Jaya will join Yeng Constantino, Rey Valera, Erik Santos and other singers as judges of the noontime show’s segment Tawag Ng Tanghalan.
Jaya is also known for being the daughter of comedienne and singer Elizabeth Ramsey. She briefly went on a hiatus from showbiz when her mom passed away October of last year.
