James Reid on going shirtless in his movies: “It’s not that I’m an exhibitionist. It’s just part of my job.”

Philippine Entertainment Portal - James Reid narrates how he started taking his shirt off in his   movies: “Really at first, I was nahihiya. Hindi pa ako confident masyado. I first went shirtless in Diary Ng Panget. I felt that my body wasn’t that good yet. But I gathered enough confidence to obey my director and I ended up taking off my shirt like, five times.”

“It was an unbelievably great year and I will never forget 2014 for being so good to me and my career.”

Ito ang mga salitang binitiwan ng Viva young actor na si James Reid tungkol sa nagdaang taon. Sa isang interview sa Fil-Australian actor sa show nila ni Nadine Lustre na #Jadine sa Viva Channel noong January 2, masaya nitong binalikan ang 2014.

Ito ang taon na sumikat ang loveteam ni James at Nadine nang pumatok ang mga pelikula nilang Diary Ng Panget at Talk Back And You’re Dead.

“Both me and Nadine, we weren’t expecting anything big that will happen when we did Diary Ng Panget.

“I was given a chance to be a lead actor in a movie and Nadine was my leading lady. Pareho kaming bida and it was pretty scary that time.

“We both didn’t know what would happen after the movie was shown. Iniisip namin kung magustuhan ba ito ng maraming tao?

“What we didn’t know was that we already had a fans club all because of the book. They were the readers of Diary Ng Panget and they were waiting for it to become a movie.

“They instantly became our fans. Nagkaroon ng JaDine loveteam and that was the start," ang sabi ni James.

“Before we knew it, sikat na pala kami ni Nadine. We were both clueless about it until we learned that the movie turned out to be a big hit.

“When the second movie came out and kumita rin ‘yon, that’s when we realized na talagang sikat na pala ang JaDine. “We had fans all over social media and that was pretty awesome.

“Things turned out to be more than what I expected it to be. And I am thankful for everything that happened in 2014.”
