Smoke Billows from burning building in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

MANILA - Fire has struck a building in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig Thursday morning.

A video submitted by Ely Valendez showed smoke emanating from the upper floors of the One World Place DEISI Company at BGC Taguig 32nd Street.

Initial reports from the Bureau of Fire protection said the fire started at the basement of the building. The fire has reached the third alarm, as of posting time.

The BFP has sent a special rescue unit to evacuate people inside the building following reports that there are still people trapped in the upper floors.

According to the official MMDA Twitter account, the fire hit the One World Place DEISI Company at BGC Taguig 32nd Street. The fire has reached the second alarm as of 10:24 a.m.
