ABS-CBN Maintained its Leadership in Terms of Nationwide Television Viewership in August.

Pawang Kapamilya shows ang bumuo sa top ten list ng pinakapinapanood na programa sa bansa kaya naman ABS-CBN pa rin ang nanguna sa buong bansa noong Agosto sa average national audience share na 47%, o 14 puntos ang lamang sa 33% ng GMA, base sa datos ng Kantar Media.

Nangunguna pa rin sa listahan “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” na may average national TV rating na 41.2%. Patuloy ngang sinusubaybayan ng sambayanan ang napapanahong mga tinatalakay ng programa kasabay ang magagandang asal na patuloy na binabahagi nito gabi-gabi.

Sinundan ito ng kakatapos lang na “The Voice Kids” (39.4%) kung saan panalo ang pangarap ng young artist na si Joshua ng FamiLEA na siyang hinirang bilang grand winner; at “Dolce Amore” (34.5%) kung saan masayang nagtapos ang love story nina Serena at Tenten.

Mainit din na tinanggap sa primetime ang pagbabalik nina James Reid at Nadine Lustre matapos pumalo ang seryeng “Till I Met You” sa average national TV rating na 28.5% at agad na nakuha ang ikapitong pwesto.

Pasok rin sa top ten ang “Wansapanataym” (34.1%), “TV Patrol” (32.7%), “MMK” (31.8%), “Home Sweetie Home” (28.2%), “Goin Bulilit” (27.2%) at “TV Patrol Weekend” (22.4%)

Pumalo ang ABS-CBN sa average national audience share na 50% sa primetime o 19 puntos ang lamang sa GMA na nakatamo lang ng 31%. Ang primetime ang pinakamahalagang timeblock dahil sa mga oras na ito may pinakamaraming nanonood kung kaya’t importante ito sa advertisers na naglalagay ng patalastas para maabot ang mas nakararaming Pilipino sa buong bansa. 

Bukod sa primetime, namayagpag din ang ABS-CBN sa lahat ng time blocks nationwide noong Hulyo. Wagi ang ABS-CBN sa morning block (6AM to 12NN) sa audience share na 41% vs GMA na may 35%; sa noontime block (12NN to 3PM) kung saan nakatamo ito ng 45% kontra 33% ng GMA, at sa afternoon block (3PM to 6PM) kung saan pumalo ito sa 48% audience share vs GMA na may 32%.

Panalo rin ang Kapamilya sa Total Luzon sa average audience share na 41% vs GMA na may 36%; sa Total Visayas kung saan nagtala ito ng 57% vs GMA na may 24%; at sa Total Mindanao sa audience share na 60% vs GMA na mayroon lang 26%. Maging sa Total Balance Luzon, ABS-CBN pa rin ang panalo sa average audience share na 49% vs kalaban na may 34% at sa Metro Manila kung saan pumelo ang ABS-CBN ng 37% kontra GMA na may 33%.
