Joining the newest primetime soap Magpahanggang Wakas is former TV5 star Danita Paner. While it is still unclear when she will be an official Kapamilya, Danita, who is also in the daytime series Be My Lady , has implied in an interview with PUSH.com.ph that she would be glad if formally offered to become part of ABS-CBN.
For those unfamiliar with the actress, here are some facts to get to know Danita better.
1. Her band used to jam with Arci Munoz
According to Danita, she used to be in a band when she was younger. “Pop-rock ‘yung genre namin. ‘Yun nga nakakasabay ko si Arci dati tumugtog, mag-gig,” she said. Arci, aside from being an actress, is also the vocalist of the rock band, Philia.
2. Danita released an album
Danita released an album under Viva Records when she was just 18 years old. Now that she is also doing projects with ABS-CBN, the 27-year-old actress hopes to continue with her singing.
“Sana, oo kasi ‘yun talaga ‘yung first love ko, singing. Sana makapagperform ulit ako, nakakamiss ‘yun.” She said that she dreams of collaborating with Kapamilya singers Jay R and Billy Crawford as she is a fan of R&B.
3. She wants to work with Piolo Pascual
Saying that she would like to do romance-comedy and action projects, Danita has expressed interest to work with actor Piolo Pascual who is the crush of her mother, Daisy Romualdez.
4. If stuck on an island, she prefers to be with Vice Ganda
Joking that she would bring a lifeguard or a chef, Danita said that she would like to be with It’s Showtime (Website link: www.itsshowtime.abs-cbn.com) host and comedian Vice Ganda when stuck on an island, “Para masaya.”
5. The things she always bring with her
According to Danita, she always carry with her, her cell phone, wallet, and a power bank.
