The Voice Kids Philippines 2016 Blind Auditions: "Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos" by Timoty

A seven-year-old boy from Bulacan was able to touch the hearts of two coaches of "The Voice Kids" on Sunday.

Timoty Pepito performed Gary Valenciano's "Natutulog Ba ang Diyos," making both Lea Salonga and Sharon Cuneta turn for his unique voice.

"Kaya ako umikot, 'yung boses mo tama lang 'yung liit at laki na pinaghalo, tapos alam mo, na-feel ko 'yung kanta mo. Ano man 'yung mga notes na medyo na-miss mo ng kaunti kanina, aayusin natin 'yan para lagi kang aware," Cuneta told Pepito.

Salonga, for her part, said: "Ang nagustuhan ko kasi, 'yung gaspang, natural. So ayokong galawin kasi 'yun ang tatak mo."


Pepito eventually became the third member of Cuneta's team, joining Iya Agraviador and John Paul Gumandoy.

By the end of the show's opening weekend, Salonga was able to recruit four young artists: Eleana Gabunada, Peter Vallejos, Noel Comia Jr. and Yessha dela Calzada.

Bamboo only has one artist -- Xylein Herrera -- on his team. "The Voice Kids," which is hosted by Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, and Kim Chiu, airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and on Sundays after "Goin' Bulilit."
