Miss USA Olivia Jordan took to social media to share her thoughts about the drama filled Miss Universe 2015.

Miss USA Olivia Jordan took to social media to share her thoughts about the drama-filled Miss Universe 2015 mix-up involving her fellow Top 3 finalists, Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines and Ariadna Gutierrez of Colombia.

Host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Gutierrez as this year’s Miss Universe, with Pia Wurtzbach named first runner-up. He eventually returned on stage to apologize, saying that Wurtzbach is the real winner of the pageant.

Jordan, who finished second runner-up, said she feels honored to have shared the stage with Wurtzbach and Gutierrez, stressing that they are both “deserving winners.”

“Both women were worthy of the crown. I’m honored I got to stand beside them and devastated for each of them – [Wurtzbach] that her moment was tainted by controversy and most of all for [Gutierrez for] having her dream ripped away from her in an instant,” she said in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

“I know both women have an incredible year ahead of them where they will embrace every opportunity that comes out of this.”

Jordan also defended Harvey, saying that he “made an honest mistake.”

I was blessed to stand in the top 3 on this stage with TWO deserving winners.👑👑💕 It was the most bizarre and confusing of circumstances for the final two. I think everyone in the room was at a loss for how to react as the situation played out in real time. Both women were worthy of the crown. I'm honored that I got to stand beside them and devastated for each of them- @piawurtzbach that her moment was tainted by controversy and most of all for @gutierrezary having her dream ripped away from her in an instant.😔 I know both women have an incredible year ahead of them where they will embrace every opportunity that comes out of this.🙌🏼 And I want to send some love to @iamsteveharveytv in a sea of hate. He made an honest mistake that he has owned up to and apologized for. We are all perfectly imperfect as humans and mistakes happen. Let's please spread love and positivity!!!🙏🏼 #grateful #missuniverse #misscolombia #missphilippines #top3

Before she made the statement on Instagram, Jordan has been seen on camera by Wurtzbach’s side – even way after the pageant ended.

Many Filipino netizens expressed their appreciation for Miss USA, thanking her for being very supportive of Wurtzbach.
