“Dingdong paid for the wedding. And it was not a cheap wedding.”

Ito ang sinabi ng wedding coordinator nina Dingdong Dantes at Marian Rivera na si Teena Barretto tungkol sa engrandeng kasal ng dalawa noong Martes, December 30.

Nag-post si Teena ng komento niya sa isang social network site nuong Jan. 2, 2015, at ni-repost naman ito ng fashionpulis.com ngayong araw na ito, Jan. 4, 2015.

Marami ang natuwa sa okasyon. Hindi rin naman maiwasan na magkaroon din ng negatibong reaksiyon tungkol sa magarbong pagpapakasal ng dalawang Kapuso stars.

Kasunod ng kanilang kasal, ilang blogs at social media posts ang kumikwestiyon sa malaking okasyon na inihanda nina Dingdong at Marian para sa kanilang kasal.

May iba pa na nagsasabing ang kasal ay binayaran ng buo ng GMA network, home network ng mag-asawa.
Pero nilinaw ni Teena sa mga komento niya, “To end all speculation and wrong assumptions, i will set the record straight.

“While some sponsors were graciously accepted, most were politely declined.” Samantala, hindi naman niya itinanggi na mayroon pa ring exchange deals na tinanggap para sa kasal.

Subalit agad niyang nilinaw, “The amount of sponsorship / xdeal is not even 5% of the total wedding cost paid by the groom.

“Given that, one can say that yes, indeed 'they paid for their wedding.'”

Kabilang na rito ang 12-foot, 5-tiered wedding cake nina Dingdong at Marian, na nakakuha ng pansin ng guests sa kanilang wedding reception.

Ani Teena, “Goldilocks is a brand being endorsed by Dingdong, so the wedding cake was really a gift from Goldilocks.”

Para kay Teena, “unfair” ang ginagawang pangba-bash ng ilan sa DongYan wedding.

Aniya, “While we are thankful to those who were very generous with their products and services, i still feel it is unfair that the couple is being bashed this way for something so beautiful, and most importantly, something they worked so hard hard for.”
