High School Teacher Charged after Dragging and Forcing a 14 Year Old into a Pool at Gym Class.

Stockton, California – some people simply wouldn’t take no for an answer. A high school teacher is now facing charges after he was caught on cam dragging a 14-year-old and forcing her into the pool.

Apparently, the girl just had her hair done that morning for her plans that night, and didn’t want to get her hair messed up.

In the video, the girl could be heard shouting that her top was about to fall off. As she was kicking and screaming, the teacher used physical force and dragged her to the side of the pool. Some students stepped in and tried to drag her back, but the teacher still managed to pull her again.

Stockton attorney Gilbert Samora is representing the girl’s family and stated that Danny Paterson had the choice to punish the girl academically, but still resorted to physical force. Patterson is now facing misdemeanor charges of corporal injury to a child.

“This isn’t a situation where she’s attacking a teacher and he’s defending himself. When a woman or a 14-year-old girl says no, it means no,” Somera said.


Patterson has been working in the said school for 10 years already, and was immediately placed on paid leave for a month.
