MILEY CYRUS Is The Latest Victim Of Internet Death Hoax.
News of actress Miley Cyrus’s
death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans
across the world, they even pointed out that Miley hadn't posted
anything on social media in three days. But Miley's "death" wasn't a
misunderstanding at all, nor a false report or a hashtag gone wrong but
it's actually a Facebook scam as Huffingtonpost explained.
Everything
started last Saturday (July 19) when a photo (you can see up top) of
Miley supposedly overdosing surfaced on the internet along with the
alarming headline: "{SHOCKING} Miley Cyrus Found Dead In Her Los Angeles
Home!"
The
snapshot is from Miley's music video for "Blonde SuperFreak Steals the
Magic Brain" with the Flaming Lips and Moby, which was released earlier
this month. The intention for this notoriety shouldn't be a
surprise, getting enough clicks made money for the scammers who spread
the false rumor.
Miley's hospitalization last April for a severe allergic reaction
and her unusual absence from social media fueled the speculation. But
the pop star didn't wait for her team to release a statement. The pop
star is well and alive, and she's topless. She posted a really cheeky
snap on Instagram instead.
