Dahil sa pagkastigo ng Simbahan Katoliko sa serye “My Husband’s Lover” GMA Network naglabas ng statement.

 

Mapanuri ngayon ang Simbahang Katoliko laban sa moralidad at dahil dyan ay binabantayan nila ang bagong bekiserye “My Husband’s Lover” at hindi ito nakaligtas sa mata nila.

Matatandaan din na pinaalalahanan ng CBCP ang writer pati na rin ang network na maging maingat sa ginagamit na tema sa mga palabas sa telebisyon. Sinabi ng pari, ang tema ng mga palabas na nakabatay sa moralidad na pinapahalagaan ng lipunan ay dapat na pag-aralang mabuti ng mga producer, writer at TV networks. Hinimok din ng pari ang mga TV networks na ikunsedera din ang implikasyon o impak ng kanilang palabas sa kamalayan ng mga manonood o TV viewers.


Narito naman ang inilabas ng GMA Network sa reaksyon ng CBCP sa kanilang programa na “My Husband’s Lover”.“GMA Network welcomes the scrutiny of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) of our primetime program ‘My Husband’s Lover’. We believe that our program while tackling sensitive real-life situations is produced with utmost prudence and in good taste. The Movie and Televesion Review and Classification Board or MTRCB has given the program an SPG (Strong Parental Guidance) rating and GMA is committed to comply with all its Standards.
